About me
Beth Smith is the K-12 ELA Supervisor for the Cobb County School District. She has 30 years of experience as a middle grades and elementary educator and holds two advanced degrees-- M.Ed. in Adolescent Education emphasis English Language Arts and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Beth is passionate about supporting Cobb teachers and keeping students at the center of the work. At home, Beth is mom to two adult sons (both graduates of Kennesaw Mountain HS), "BeBe" to her first grandchild, and pack leader to Cocoa (Jack Russell Terrier) and Sister (golden retriever).
