About me
I am originally from Northwestern Pennsylvania. I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in Middle-Level English Education. In 2017, I earned my master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology. This endeavor equipped me with innovative tools to facilitate impactful learning experiences. Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of teaching both art and language arts in the charming suburbs of Charleston, SC. before relocating to Marietta in 2023.I have always loved books, art, and learning. Some of my favorite novels are Pride and Prejudice, The Hunger Games, and The Claidi Journals. I also enjoy traveling. I have visited many U.S. cities, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Italy, Costa Rica, and most recently Japan. I love traveling and offering student travel experiences. This past summer I organized a student trip to South Korea! I believe that nurturing a love for learning, cultivating respect for other cultures, and equipping students for the global workforce are essential pillars of education.
