About me
I am a dedicated educator currently teaching fifth grade at Green Acres Elementary School in Smyrna. I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Spanish from Texas A&M University in 2019, followed by a master's degree from the University of West Georgia in 2021. I am now in my final semester of a Specialist degree in Instructional Technology with a reading endorsement through Georgia's BEST program at the University of West Georgia.Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade, each offering unique and rewarding experiences. However, I am especially passionate about teaching fifth grade, as it allows me to reignite a love of learning in students who may have begun to disengage from education. I strive to bring a sense of wonder and excitement into my classroom, creating an environment where all students feel inspired and capable of success. My passion for education extends to the integration of technology in the classroom. I believe that purposeful technology use can enhance learning, engage students in meaningful ways, and equip them with the skills they need for the future. By leveraging innovative digital tools, I aim to make learning more interactive, accessible, and personalized, ensuring that every student can reach their full potential.
